I usually dismiss most of the ‘i-team investigates’ type segments of local news shows, but this seems to be something you can’t really hype. As someone who travels a lot, and spends a lot of time in hotels, this disturbs me.. yet doesn’t surprise me much. I am glad that I just buy bottled water from the local convenience store and sometimes from the exhorbitant gift shop. So next time you go to your conferences, or travel for work.. remember this video.
I’ve seen the same sort of thing on the “Dateline” program. This is why I much prefer to stay in campgrounds & parks if possible (it also has the added benefit of being much, much cheaper!).

I’ve done a good bit of travel in the last couple of years, and just about all of the hotels that I’ve stayed in use the plastic one-use cups rather than actual glasses.

Wow, that is really gross. I will definitely remember that next time.
